Our Children Are Our Muses...


While driving and contemplating life I ....

decided to share in a voice note how important it is to let our children be our muses. As mothers or parents, it can be so challenging to step outside the roles of responsibility and for a moment, stand in the bliss that IS parenting, mothering, and bare witness to the miracle that stands before us. 

It is so epically essential that we give space and give way to the magic of motherhood and enjoy the visions before us.

To give way to the inspiration instead of stress, that permeates our existence, and do what we are here to do... build a better future. A more fertile ground. A place where our children's children, have more opportunity, more peace, more clean water, more clean food, more clean air... more love.

7 Signs You’re In An Empowered Relationship

After having my fair share of dramatic relationships and maturing into relationships that are something very different then the recklessness of young hearts abandoning themselves to love, I’ve discovered what it means to sit in an empowered, cooperative space with a partner. 

Whatever style of partnership you're in, an empowered relationship will always have these 7 elements.

You Know You're In An Empowered Relationship When You Experience: 

#1: Radical Honesty 

Radical honesty is about telling the truth no matter what we think it will cost us. The truth about ourselves, the truth about what trigger us, the truth about what we are experiencing and why. It also means hearing these truths from our partner knowing it may reveal a deep rooted layer within self, that may need to be peeled away. When we show up to ourselves with this maturity and commitment, knowing that there is nothing ugly about our imperfections, we have an incredible opportunity to transform; thus will our partner and the relationship itself. There must be a dedication to truth at the very core from both you and your partner.

This was a ton of fun and the crew there is awesome! Celebrity Catwalk is a New York based company and Television show that produces events that marry the worlds of animal rescue, fashion and celebrities. 

In this interview we talk about my work as a coach and why I created The ONE Fudge Chocolate Bar. After me is a line up of great people, including Victoria Moran who is famous for her MAIN STREET VEGAN Institute and a multitude of books.

Raw Vegan Pumpkin Pie


This Pie is so delicious you will be the envy of every guest! Healthy and guilt free - this is the perfect pie for the holiday season. 


* All Ingredients are Organic 


See Directions below. 


2 Cup Soaked Pecans

2 TBL Chia Powder

2 TBL Coconut Nectar

Pinch Celtic Sea Salt


You can choose any sweet nut that you like as the crust base as well as any low glycemic sweeter. Be sure to use the correct ratios when substituting a power sweeter for a liquid sweeter. 


For the Crust: blend soaked pecans with all ingredients in cuisinart until sticky. Press into pie plate and let sit while you make the filling.



1 Sugar Pie Pumpkin - de-seeded & skinned cut into 1 inch chunks

1/2 Cup Coconut Nectar

1/2 Cup Purified Water

2- 3 TBL Coconut Butter (warmed)

2 TBL Irish Moss Gel

1 - 2 tsp Cinnamon

1-2 tsp Nutmeg

1 tsp Vanilla

1 tsp Clove Powder

Pinch of Celtic Sea Salt


You can use any low glycemic sweeter you like and in place of Irish Moss you can choose another healthy thickening agent. I will say though, that Irish Moss is very high in minerals and is light so it offers a very light and fluffy gel like experience for any recipe. 


For the Filling: pulse prepped pumpkin in cuisinart until finely chopped. Transfer to vita-mix (or other high powered blender), add rest of filling ingredients and blend on high until very creamy! Pour into pie plate and place in fridge to set for 45 minutes.


Whipped Cream:

1 Cup Macadamia Nuts

1/4 Cup Coconut Nectar

4 TBL purified water

2 TBL Irish Moss Gel

1 TBL Coconut Oil

1 tsp Vanilla Extract


You can also use Coconut Milk to make whipped cream and of course any low glycemic sweeter like Liquid Stevie Extract, Xylitol, and or Erythritol. 


While the pie is setting you can make the Whipped Cream: place all ingredients in the Vita-Mix (or other high powered blender) and blend on high until smooth & creamy. Let set in fridge with the pie.
